Very nice food, went there for lunch, the food is for sure satisfying. Also the staff Salvio is super helpful and friendly, one of the best service and restaurants I’ve tried in Naples!
We thought it wise to eat in Naples before returning home. This place only offered walk-ins. It was very busy. After 5 minutes, they said we could have the table for an hour. Lots of great choices for seafood lovers. Between us, we ordered spaghetti with clams, steamed smoked mussels, prawn spaghetti, swordfish, pizza and Mediterranean salad. The mussels were the highlight: so sweet and fresh, and a generous portion. The swordfish was vast and perfectly charred. My partner's (two) prawns were also fresh and delicious, but the spaghetti was a bit on the hard side. My friend also didn't enjoy the pizza because the wetness of the mozzarella turned the center into a soggy mess. Overall, though we appreciated being squeezed in, it was a shame we could not have sat and relaxed to enjoy the meal. Every aspect of the seafood was fresh and delicious.
Great location with even better staff! We had a great meal here enjoying the cuoppa appetizer and two pizzas! The service was fantastic, our waiter was so friendly (I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name but you were wonderful!) Greta stop with reasonable prices near the port!
5 china points from me. The service was excellent with some humors, Salvatore owned the FOH. The food part was excellent, seafoods were well-sourced, fresh, and delightful. My dish( grilled swordfish) at under 20 Euros was a steal. Portion was generous. They also have other fresh selections of local seafood ingredients, I highly recommend people to explore more options there by asking the waiters.
Outstanding service, excellent food and a cosy atmosphere. Our dinner at Trattoria Castel Nuovo was amazing from start to finish. The dishes were fresh, high quality and delicious and came out fast. The appetizers are a highlight by themselves and the main dishes were fantastic too. Well-seasoned and hearty. The waiters were friendly, attentive and always open for some light banter. A must-try in Napoli.
Very conveniently located close to the port. They have a few tables outside. I went by myself and they gave me a nice little table. Food was delicious and good value for money, not cheap but for the quality I thought it was fairly priced. I ordered fish, they also do pizzas and more affordable options. They wine recommendation went well the the mixed grilled fish I ordered. I'd go back if I find myself in the area again.
Since we were getting tired of eating pizzas in Naples, we decided to go for seafood and trust me, this place did not disappoint. My partner and my friend enjoyed the lasagna but what was so delicious that we had two portions of was the grilled mussels. Super well seasoned, super tender - we just couldn’t get enough of it! Highly recommended restaurant for seafood lovers.
The service was really good and friendly, with honest recommendations. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and the tiramisu was made right in front of us. We had a great experience.
